How To Design A Great Custom Tent To Boost Your Business

Do you find it is not easy to design a suitable custom tent for your business? You may know what you want the tent to look like, but you don’t know how to design, and don’t even know where to start, right?

If you want your tent to be attractive, to be with high visibility, to grab more attention and awareness for your business, a great design is essential. And for a great design, there are some things you should consider:

1. Size of tent

Picking the correct size is the first step toward designing a custom tent. You need to determine how much outdoor space you have available and then decide how you are going to best utilize your tent. 10’ x 10’ tents are the most popular sizes for food/merchandise vendors and trade show booths, and for other large outdoor gathering events, 10’ x 15’ and 10’x20’ are usually recommended.

2. File quality of your logo/image

You need to make sure that you have a vector or an editable file of your logo, or at least a JPG file with high-resolution. Low-resolution images, screenshots, or photos will not print well.

3. The position of your logo and messaging

You need to decide where you want to place your logo and messaging to ensure that your brand will get the best visibility. A fully printed tent has 8 different locations, 4 peaks, and 4 valances for you to place your logo and messaging. The peaks own the biggest display space, which would give you the most visibility. So the peaks would be the ideal places for your logo. Meanwhile, the valances are also the same important areas as it might be the first sight to people when visiting your booth. Messages like website, a phone number can be added to the valances. And you can also choose half side walls or full side walls to add extra displaying space for your tent.

4. Background color

A good background color would make your tent stand out. You would usually choose a color that goes with your logo or just simply uses conservative colors like black and white, correct? But sometimes, a bold decision would give you a surprise. For example, a yellow might just give your brand a positive vibe that is attractive and brings you more foot traffic during an event than you expected.
